It’s been 5 years.

5 years since we started Igloo together.

Me and Nathan started different universities studying film production in 2017.

But after a year, we decided to call it quits.

We had a variety of reactions if I’m honest.

Some good and some bad.

It was risky some would say, but also an amazing new opportunity to learn and gain real life experience.

We never hated Uni, or thought it was pointless.

But in our industry, we wanted a portfolio to show and just wanted to get stuck in.

So a year later we left, and set up Igloo Media.

We did a lot of things for free at first.

But we knew how important it was to get projects under our belt.

For us it was being able to show what we’ve made and done, rather than needing a degree.

Don’t get me wrong, degrees can be great.

We just knew we wanted to gain experience and work with real clients.

Not just make a pretend video for a pretend client in an assignment.

It’s been 5 years and we still don’t regret it.

It’s had its highs and lows but we’ve just kept pushing.

We have lots of hopes and dreams like any small business does.

We feel so lucky we get to do this as our job.

Here’s one of our first ever shoots with the amazing Chailey Heritage Foundation.
